The recent appointment of Marián Cano as Councillor for Innovation, Industry, Commerce, and Tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana has been deemed 'a wise decision' by the Valencian business sector.

The Confederation of Business of the Valencian Community (CEV) has congratulated the new regional leader, highlighting her 'deep understanding of the regional industry and European economic and regulatory dynamics.'

Marián Cano has so far been, in addition to being the president of AVECAL, vice president of CEV Alicante and a member of the CEV's board of directors, 'an ideal profile to tackle the challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of our economy.'

The president of the CEV, Salvador Navarro, has assured that 'we have full confidence that her experience and vision will be decisive in strengthening innovation, industrial competitiveness, commerce, and tourism, essential sectors for the prosperity of the Community.'

Since this Monday, when her appointment was made public, the CEV 'is at her disposal' to collaborate and work, through dialogue and unity, for the companies of the Valencian Community and its society.

Additionally, Salvador Navarro expressed his 'most sincere gratitude' towards the outgoing councillor, Nuria Montes, whose management at the head of the Conselleria has been 'full of successes', highlighting 'important milestones that in the long term will translate into strategic advantages for our Community.'
