Cruz Roja Española and Hidraqua have launched the III Business Forum, an event that seeks to establish new alliances to address local challenges. This year, the forum has transformed into a provincial conference series, starting at the Shoe Museum in Elda and extending until November through the cities of Benidorm, Orihuela, Sant Joan d'Alacant, and Santa Pola.
In all its versions, this forum brings together several companies to jointly discuss local challenges and ideas about Responsibility and Social Action. Additionally, it values the alliances between the Red Cross, Hidraqua, the local business network, the administration, and various associations in each municipality.
Among the topics discussed in each meeting are business sustainability in the social axis; associationism linked to participation; or technology serving people in terms of participation and employment. Additionally, according to the Spanish Red Cross Action Plan, this forum series also addresses the role of volunteers as agents who drive and participate in achieving objectives.

Amelia Navarro, Director of Sustainability, Equity, and Social Action at Hidraqua, explains that "with our participation in this initiative, we are committed to alliances and joint work to address social challenges with new ideas oriented towards social action with local impact. Together with municipalities, the Spanish Red Cross, and other social entities, we promote programs that respond to these challenges, aligned with our activity, seeking to improve the quality of life for citizens and especially for those who need it most."
For Francisco Galvañ, Provincial President of the Red Cross, "with these meetings we aim to highlight Social Responsibility, challenges, and the value of alliances between our organization, companies, the Administration, and various entities and associations in each municipality."
Additionally, the President of the Red Cross wanted to thank the solidarity and social commitment of entities and partner companies that already collaborate with the Red Cross: "from supermarkets that open their facilities in emergency situations like DANA, transport companies that offer free transportation of goods and products, hotel companies that donate furniture and food products or companies that help with job placement for unemployed people, among others. All of them are examples of a business collaboration model that adds value to society from a local perspective."
