Brutal Collision in Alicante Municipality: Local Police Car Overturns in Traffic Accident

Residents of Catral, in the Vega Baja del Segura, experienced a significant scare on Monday morning. They witnessed a Local Police vehicle from this municipality overturn after colliding violently with another car during an emergency service.

This accident occurred at the intersection of Albellón Street and Manuel Flores Avenue. It was at this junction where the Catral Local Police vehicle remained upside down, alongside the other car with its front end destroyed.

The Catral Local Police report no serious injuries during this dramatic traffic accident, which occurred while the patrol car was "conducting an emergency service through the urban area."

Other Local Police officers, as well as medical and civil protection personnel, also arrived at the scene, and their "quick response" is appreciated.

The Catral Local Police also expressed gratitude for the "understanding" of the residents for "the inconvenience caused" and emphasized that the Headquarters has initiated the corresponding report to clarify the causes of the incident.

"Our priority is always the safety of both our officers and all citizens," stated the Local Police in a communiqué issued after Monday's accident involving an overturned car.
