There was a time when Guadalix de la Sierra was synonymous with Big Brother. This small town in the Madrid mountains was chosen by Telecinco in 2001 to host Spain's most famous reality TV show. Now, nearly a quarter of a century later, the appliances, sofas, cables, beds, and cameras are being packed away "to grow". This is the explanation provided by the show's official profile on X, surprising everyone.
Big Brother is leaving its confinement and moving to a new building. After returning to the schedule following several years of absence due to legal issues, the Zeppelin-produced show aims to reinvent itself and adapt to modern demands. The new house will be larger, more appealing, and better aligned with the television formats audiences now expect—a path previously taken by OT with its new academy a few years ago.
