The National Police discovered the lifeless body of a young woman in the Madrid town of Getafe this Saturday. According to Telemadrid, the authorities have not yet confirmed if it was a homicide, although the victim's partner reportedly has a criminal record.
To access the residence, located at number 43 San José de Calasanz Street, firefighters from the Community of Madrid had to force the door open, where they found the victim's body, apparently in an advanced state of decomposition. The National Police have taken charge of the investigation, pending autopsy results, as reported by Europa Press.
This medical examination could shed light on the causes of death, determining whether it was due to natural causes or a violent death. In the latter case, the hypothesis of a possible new case of gender-based violence would then be considered.
