Two Boats with Up to 57 People Located off the Coast of Alicante

Maritime Rescue intercepted two boats off the coast of Alicante on Thursday, with a total of 57 occupants, according to Europa Press.

Specifically, at 04:10 in the early morning, a precarious vessel with 13 people on board was intercepted off the coast of Santa Pola.

Meanwhile, at 07:15, another fishing-type vessel with 44 people was detected, although it was intercepted at 09:40, in the area of the Serra Gelada Natural Park.

After being rescued, all of them were transferred to the Port of Alicante, where they will undergo a medical examination to determine their health status.
