Blood Donation Marathon at UMH Concludes with 226 Donations

A total of 226 people donated during the Blood Marathon held at the Elche and Sant Joan d'Alacant campuses of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH). Of these, 97 were first-time donors.

Specifically, 171 donations were recorded at the Altabix, la Galia, Rectorate and Social Council, and Arenals buildings on the Elche campus, while 55 were made at the Francisco Javier Balmis building on the Sant Joan d'Alacant campus.

Donating blood is donating life and takes just 20 minutes. Every day, around 250 donations are needed in the province of Alicante alone to assist people with various conditions or needs.
