Bertín Osborne is determined to put an end to the controversies that have surrounded him since it was revealed he would become a father for the seventh time. The baby, born from a brief romance with Gabriela Guillén, a beautician and model with whom he collaborated on a clothing brand campaign, was born in December 2023. Initially hesitant, the singer has now confirmed that he has met the little one. 'He's adorable, charming, very affectionate,' he said about the child with whom he has spent 'many afternoons playing.'

Moreover, the presenter has assured that his relationship with Gabriela is currently 'phenomenal.' Their recent rapprochement aims to avoid any legal or personal battles that could negatively impact the child. 'Everything concerning the child's well-being is being handled personally between her and me, because the child is not to blame for anything. Any mistakes we make as parents are our own,' he explained.

This is a stark contrast to his initial reaction upon learning of Gabriela's pregnancy, when he stated in an exclusive interview with '¡Hola!' magazine that he had decided not to 'act as a father,' although he maintained that he would take care of the child's needs.

After months of disputes between the parents, Bertín finally decided not to undergo a paternity test, directly acknowledging the child's parentage. 'I was wrong and I don't want to keep making mistakes,' he said in June 2024, emphasizing the importance of the child being raised in harmony and respect between his parents.

Despite this, it seemed the moment to meet the little one was delayed, even though the singer insisted he planned to meet him. In fact, there was speculation that the meeting had already taken place, something Gabriela herself denied. Now, Bertín has publicly stated not only that he has met the child, but that he shares playtime with him.

Throughout this time, Bertín has had the support of his older daughters, Alejandra, Eugenia, and Claudia, and the discretion of his ex-wife, Fabiola Martínez, mother of his younger sons, Kike and Carlos.
