Bertín Osborne has confirmed his decision to bid farewell to music. Earlier this year, he hinted at his desire to step away from the stage, and now he has expressed his intention to do so after a grand tour in 2026 to say goodbye to his audience after four decades. The artist approaches this phase with the same ease with which he has made other changes throughout his career. "This profession, which can be very ungrateful, has not been so for me, because I am one to reinvent myself. Fifteen years ago, I hit a rough patch in music and turned to television," he recalled on an Ecuadorian television show.

Among his projects is also the aim to strengthen his business side to leave his children a thriving enterprise. "I want to leave a company that works and that they can continue, sell, or 'polish', but that they have something solid. Not fame or records... Music involves a lot of effort, many trips, a lot of focus... and it takes me away from other things that, at this moment, are more important to me," he expressed in the magazine ¡Hola!.

Bertín made this confirmation a few days after the Official State Gazette officially announced his title as the ninth Count of Donadío de Casasola, inherited from his father, who passed away last October. "I preferred the title of Count of Las Navas, but my father, in life, asked me to give my authorization to transfer that title to my sister Chata. And as I understood what my father wanted, and I adore my sister María Teresa, I gave that permission," he recounted.
