Duo and Bento: Two Vehicles Redefining Urban Mobility

Duo and Bento are aimed at both individuals and professionals. Duo features two seats and can be driven with or without a type B driving license, depending on the version and local regulations. The commercial version, Bento, is only suitable for license holders and replaces the passenger seat with a closed trunk of 649 litres for transporting small items or goods. They are compact (2.43 and 2.54 meters in length, respectively) and incredibly easy to handle in the city, making parking a breeze.

They offer a unique driving experience thanks to the central driver's position and optimized suspension comfort. Additionally, they come standard with a driver's airbag, a unique feature in the quadricycle segment. Their high range (up to 161 km for Duo and 149 km for Bento) allows for extended intervals between charges.

In detail, Duo offers a striking and customizable design, compact size, and fun driving experience, even without a driving license. This pleasure and freedom of use, similar to two-wheeled vehicles, is complemented by the comfort of a closed cabin, air conditioning, driver's seat, and heated windshield. Journeys are more enjoyable with music easily played from a smartphone via Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, the dashboard includes a USB-C port and smartphone holder.

The 10.3 kWh NMC battery (usable capacity) corresponds to a module from the Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric battery pack. This gives Duo a range of up to 161 km according to the WMTC standard applied to quadricycle homologation (149 km for Bento). Therefore, for most drivers, the range will be well over 100 km, even in winter. Energy recovery when lifting the foot off the pedal helps control electric consumption.

Regarding charging, Duo includes a standard socket in the hood for domestic connections or, optionally, a Type 2 socket, suitable for most public or corporate charging points. In one hour (the time of a meal), Duo recovers 25 km of range from a simple domestic socket.

For charges from 20% to 80%, which is around 120 km, it takes 3 hours and 50 minutes with a domestic socket, and 3 hours and 25 minutes with a Type 2 socket.

And all with a high level of safety. The pleasure of driving a two-wheeled vehicle and the agility of a quadricycle are combined with the safety features of a car. Duo is the only quadricycle on the market offering an airbag. The seat belts have a load limiter at the front. The Fireman Access is a unique Renault Group device common to all its electric vehicles, designed to allow firefighters to intervene quickly in case of fire.

On the other hand, Bento features an adaptable trunk of 649 litres, equivalent to the trunks of two cars! The vehicle offers a useful volume of around 1 m3, making Bento ideal for all proximity services in urban and peripheral areas, where environmental and space-saving demands are increasingly high. The trunk allows for all imaginable distributions so that various professionals can use the vehicle: repairs, maintenance, personal services, on-demand deliveries.

Moreover, aimed at professionals (mobility operators, fleet managers, or technicians), it integrates easily into fleet management tools or can also utilize Mobilize's Fleet Management tools. For instance, Smart Sharing is a service for car-sharing operators and fleet managers. It is an application that allows users to book a vehicle, locate it, and obtain its digital key.

Meanwhile, Geofencing is a service that allows defining the geographical area within which the vehicle can operate. If the limits are exceeded, the vehicle administrator receives an alert. Battery charge inhibition is a tool that allows the vehicle administrator to prevent a charge remotely to immobilize the vehicle safely in case of misuse.
