Benidorm Seeks Its Exemplary Neighbor for 2024

The Neighborhood Council of Benidorm, with the support of the Department of Citizen Participation, has launched a new edition of the Exemplary Neighbor Award. This award honors city residents whose conduct serves as a "model of coexistence" and "inspiration" for the rest of the citizenry.

The councilor of the department, Ana Pellicer, announced through a statement that the nomination period starts this Sunday, September 1st, and will remain open until the end of the month.

Pellicer highlighted that this award, which is unique because it originates from civil society, is a "magnificent" opportunity to value the "work, dedication, altruism, commitment, and empathy of our neighbors." It recognizes individuals who exhibit "outstanding and notable personal, civic, and ethical values," who have served or are serving the city, and whose daily lives and good practices serve as an inspiration for the rest of society.
