"The Bear" embraces the Arniches Theater in Alicante this Saturday

The Arniches Theater in Alicante offers this Saturday, October 26, at 8:30 PM, the world premiere of the show "The Bear" by the Alicante company Marroch. It is a piece by dancers and choreographers Salvador Rocher and Melodía García, which starts from the management of fear and anxiety.

According to Melodía García, "The Bear" is a contemporary dance piece in which five performers, through movement and the aesthetics of the work, address the theme of anxiety, the importance of mental health, and the process that occurs in the body during an anxious period.

Wilma Puentes, Sonia García, Ana Lola Cosín, Marina Melero, and María Palazón are the performers of "The Bear", which premieres at the Arniches Theater in Alicante after a creative process developed in Elche and with the collaboration of the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC).

This is the seventh show by the Marroch contemporary dance company founded in Santa Pola by Salvador Rocher, María Palazón, and Melodía García. Despite its young trajectory, it has already managed to participate in some of the most relevant festivals and showcases on the national scene, such as Dansa València.
