Barcelona is in a celebratory mood, not just for the Copa del Rey title, as the women's team has achieved another remarkable feat. Barcelona handed Chelsea an aggregate score of 8-2 over two matches, each ending 4-1, in the Women's Champions League semi-finals. The tie seemed more balanced before the games, but on the pitch, there was no contest. Chelsea needed to go all out to overturn the match, but by halftime, they were down by three goals scored by Aitana Bonmati, Pajor, and Claudia Pina.

The tie was already decided, and the Londoners' attempts were in vain as they were thoroughly outclassed. In the 90th minute, Salma Paralluelo added the fourth goal, and just after the restart, Chelsea managed a consolation goal through Kaptein. This result confirms the Blaugranas' qualification for another Champions League final, their fifth in a row. The team, led by Pere Romeu, has the chance to win their third consecutive European championship.

Despite the dominance of Barcelona's women's team in the Liga F, there are formidable opponents in Europe, and achieving what this team has is no easy task. In the final, the Catalans will face either Lyon or Arsenal in a match that promises much for women's sport. The most feared opponents would be the French side, as they have lifted the trophy the most times (eight), and have already defeated Barcelona in two finals. This would mean a repeat of the previous final, where Barcelona broke their streak and won 2-0.

The Catalan club has the potential to win all trophies in both the men's and women's categories. The men's team won the Copa del Rey yesterday, are leading in La Liga, and are in the Champions League semi-finals. The women's team is in the final of the Copa de la Reina, leads the league, and could lift the Women's Champions League. Should they win everything in both categories, Joan Laporta could take pride in what could be one of the most successful years in the club's history, coinciding with its 125th anniversary.
