Barça Delays Return to Camp Nou Until Mid-February

Barcelona's much-anticipated return to Camp Nou will have to wait. The club will not return to its iconic home until at least mid-February, as communicated in an email to season ticket holders who had already requested access to the stadium in the event of a potential return.

The club attributes the decision to UEFA regulations, which prevent changing stadiums during the initial phase of the Champions League. The logistical challenges and economic burden of maintaining both Camp Nou and the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc until the end of this round of the Champions League have necessitated the postponement.

As a result, Barça will play the final group stage match of the Champions League at the Lluís Companys on Wednesday, January 29, against Atalanta. Additionally, the league matches on January 26 against Valencia and February 2 against Alavés will also be held at Montjuïc.
