Baleària will expand its connections between the Balearic Islands and the Peninsula from December 21 to January 12 with a schedule adapted to meet the high demand of passengers during the Christmas holidays. The shipping company will strengthen its services from Ibiza to Dénia on weekends and from Menorca and Mallorca to Barcelona during the week.
The maritime company will offer a ferry connection on Saturdays and Sundays between Ibiza and Dénia, with departures from the island early in the morning and return from the Peninsula in the afternoon. These links will be made with the Bahama Mama ferry, a natural gas ship with a capacity for 1,000 passengers and 340 vehicles, seating and cabins adapted for pets, and various onboard services such as a cafeteria, restaurant, gift shop, free digital entertainment, and WhatsApp use during the crossing. It should be noted that these connections will complement the daily service that the shipping company operates at high speed between Palma-Ibiza-Dénia and between Ibiza-Formentera-Dénia.

Baleària will also add a departure on Tuesdays at high speed between Ciutadella, Alcúdia, and Barcelona, reaching six weekly rotations with departures from Thursday to Tuesday with the new fast ferry Margarita Salas. This flagship of the shipping company's commitment to innovation and digitalization has a capacity for 1,200 passengers and 450 vehicles, and will allow for the first time up to six fast connections between Mallorca, Menorca, and the Catalan city at this time of year with a three and a half hour crossing.
The shipping company has also scheduled a series of onboard entertainment activities to enliven the crossings during these special dates for the little ones. Baleària will offer magic shows on some of its ships from December 20 to January 7, and has scheduled several visits from Santa Claus and some of his helpers on the Balearic routes.
On the other hand, the maritime company reinforces its commitment to solidarity and fair trade by giving away children's books on board as part of its collaboration with Oxfam Intermon.
