Baleària is set to make its mark at the International Tourism Fair in Madrid (Fitur) next week, unveiling its latest business innovations. The shipping company will introduce its project to establish the first 100% green corridor between Spain and Morocco, alongside the construction of the first two zero-emission electric fast ferries to operate on the route between Tarifa and Tangier Ville.

Additionally, Baleària will highlight its ongoing commitment to sustainable connections with the Balearic Islands, thanks to its fleet of ferries and fast ferries powered by natural gas and electric energy. In this regard, the company will showcase the recent addition of the fast ferry Margarita Salas, a gas-powered catamaran that has been connecting Barcelona, Mallorca, and Menorca year-round at high speed since last summer.

The company will also enter into several collaboration agreements with tourism and sports entities to promote weekend getaways to the Peninsula or Morocco.

Furthermore, the maritime company will gather content creators from the travel sector for a roundtable discussion on how to maximize the efficiency of content creation during a trip while still enjoying the experience.
