The Scientific Park of the Miguel Hernández University (Pcumh) of Elche has selected Yesh³ as the best proposal in the 11th edition of the Santander X Explorer program at the UMH Space centre. Consequently, the Pcumh will award a prize of 300 euros to this project led by Mario Pérez Villegas, designed to transform work environments through intelligent cabins equipped with Artificial Intelligence.
Specifically, this innovative initiative focuses on improving mental well-being: these cabins, fully soundproofed and customised, offer a variety of relaxation, mindfulness, and wellness tools guided by a virtual assistant, which adapts experiences to the needs of each user in real-time.
In addition to Yesh³, nearly a dozen projects were registered in the eleventh edition of Santander X Explorer at UMH, with four reaching the final. These include, besides the winning initiative, In.Audito, a multidisciplinary proposal promoted by Alba María Martínez Bonet, aiming to raise awareness of functional diversity, especially for people with hearing difficulties, presenting art as a tool for social and personal change; and PASMI, a 3D-designed support product promoted by Rosa Ana Oliver Soler, which seeks to facilitate the drying task for lower limbs for people with reduced mobility.
Plenipausia was also a finalist, a project driven by Sonia Albero Amorós, designed to help women achieve comprehensive well-being and improve their quality of life through a holistic and integrative medicine approach. Thanks to its innovation, this proposal was one of the initiatives selected in the Explorer Pitch Weekend. This is an online event held within the Santander Explorer program framework, where participants from all affiliated centres could present their business initiatives online. An expert jury selected the 50 most innovative, including Plenipausia, which will receive crowdfunding training.
Santander X Explorer is a talent-boosting initiative promoted by Banco Santander, with affiliated centres in Spain, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, the United States, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Uruguay. UMH became a Space centre in 2015 through the Entrepreneurship Area of the UMH Scientific Park. Since then, it has advised nearly 170 entrepreneurs with over 130 innovative projects.
