On March 30th, a forceful robbery occurred at the municipal depot in the Valencian town. Two individuals entered the premises by scaling the perimeter fence. Once inside, they stole various parts from the vehicles stored there, such as tyres with rims, radios, and tools.
Once the Oliva-Gandía Main Post was informed of the incident, investigations began in continuous collaboration with the Local Police of Oliva. Security cameras at the municipal facilities were reviewed, providing the necessary data to identify the vehicle used in the robbery.
With this information, the Civil Guard located the car in the town of Els Poblets. Surveillance conducted around the residence led to the sighting of several stolen items. These surveillances also aimed to identify the vehicle's user.
Finally, at the beginning of April, a 41-year-old Spanish man was arrested in Els Poblets as the perpetrator of a forceful robbery through scaling.
During the arrest, some of the stolen items were recovered and identified by members of the Local Police of Oliva: a tyre, two radios, and various tools.
Investigations continue to identify and arrest the second person involved in the robbery. The proceedings were submitted to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 1 of Dénia.
