Ariya Nismo, Nissan's Major Revelation: A 435 HP Electric Crossover

Nissan has unveiled the Ariya Nismo at the International Motor Show in Barcelona, Automobile Barcelona. This 435 HP electric crossover embodies the full Nismo heritage in the electrification era.

This high-performance version promises intense thrills without compromising efficiency. With a torque of 600 Nm thanks to two electric motors (one per axle for all-wheel drive), the Ariya Nismo inherits the spirit of the Japanese brand's sports division and translates it into the zero-emission mobility era.

This crossover, which will arrive in Europe in limited units, merges the futuristic elegance of the Ariya with Nismo's characteristic dynamism.

Its aesthetics are distinguished by a specific body kit that includes aggressively designed bumpers, side skirts, a functional rear diffuser, and a spoiler that not only adds sportiness but also optimizes aerodynamics. The ensemble is completed with striking 20-inch ENKEI wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires, designed to offer maximum grip and performance in sporty driving.

The interior of the Ariya Nismo also exudes sportiness, featuring a specifically designed steering wheel and bucket seats that hold the body optimally in curves.

The figures speak for themselves: the electric motor propels the Nissan Ariya Nismo from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds. Equipped with an 87 kWh net capacity battery, it offers a range of 417 km per charge (WLTP). The battery supports charges of up to 22 kW in alternating current and 130 kW in direct current, allowing 80% charge in just 40 minutes.

The Nissan Ariya range offers an accessible electrification proposal for a wide spectrum of customers. With three other powertrains (218 HP, 242 HP, and 306 HP with e-4ORCE traction) and two battery capacities (63 kWh and 87 kWh), the Ariya positions itself in the Spanish market with prices starting from 41,750 euros (excluding subsidies). The entry-level version, with a front motor of 218 HP and a 63 kWh battery, offers a range of 404 km, while the more touring variant combines a 242 HP motor with the 87 kWh battery to reach 535 km of range. The e-4ORCE all-wheel drive, with 306 HP and an 87 kWh battery, offers 509 km of range.

With a body length of 4.59 meters, a spacious cabin for five passengers, and a trunk of up to 468 liters, the Nissan Ariya presents itself as a versatile and practical electric crossover for families.

Motorsport enthusiasts visiting Nissan's stand at Automobile Barcelona will be able to admire the Nissan e-4ORCE 05 up close, the single-seater with which the Nissan Formula E Team competes in the Formula E World Championship.

This electric bolide shares technological ties with the Ariya Nismo, demonstrating how advancements developed in high-level competition are transferred to street vehicles, offering an exciting and technologically advanced driving experience.
