How to Apply for Generalitat Scholarships for UNED Students

The Department of Education, Culture, Universities, and Employment, through the Directorate General of Universities, has announced scholarships amounting to 75,000 euros for students pursuing undergraduate studies at the associated centres of the National University of Distance Education in the Valencian Community (UNED) for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The grants consist of exemption from paying the cost of credits for which UNED students have enrolled for the first time. It is necessary to prove enrolment in at least one subject for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The cost of credits is established in Order CNU/1113/2024, dated October 3, which sets the public prices for university academic services and other services at the National University of Distance Education for the 2024-2025 academic year.

These scholarships can be applied for by students who have not reached the age of 55 by the application deadline and who are pursuing university studies at the associated centres of UNED in the Valencian Community.

Additionally, among the requirements is the need to prove administrative residence in any municipality of the Valencian Community or not to hold or meet the legal requirements for obtaining a degree of the same or higher level than the studies for which the scholarship is being applied.

To account for the increase in the CPI, in this call, income thresholds have been increased by 5% compared to the previous one. Additionally, deductions for large or single-parent families, both general and special categories, have been increased.

The family income for this scholarship, which includes the income of each computable family member who earns income of any kind, will be that corresponding to the 2023 fiscal year.

The deadline for submitting applications will be one month, starting from the day following the publication of the resolution in the DOGV. Specifically, it ends on June 6.

Applications must be submitted exclusively by electronic means through the GVA Electronic Headquarters website.
