The Anti-Aging Cream from Elche Honoured at Cosmetic Awards

The Elche-based cream from the startup Helenis Biocosmetics, part of the Science Park of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH), has recently been recognised at the 'Beauty Shortlist Awards 2025'. Its anti-aging moisturiser 'Glow Aging' was awarded in the 'Recommendation' category.

Furthermore, the company's upcoming launch, the 'Microbiome Modulator Cleansing Foam', received the 'Editor's Choice' distinction at these awards. This firm was one of the proposals awarded in the 13th UMH Marathon, a programme managed by the UMH Science Park.

The promoter of the startup, Elena Jiménez, highlighted these awards as "an important recognition" for the new brand. Jiménez stated that "the fact that industry experts recognise our commitment to innovation and quality in skincare honours and deeply gratifies us."

In this regard, the company offers three products. The first, its anti-aging cream, is a facial product with a concentration of antioxidant oils that increases skin hydration, elasticity, and firmness. The second, its 'Immunoshower', is a bath and shampoo gel with microbial extract from the Nordic forest, formulated to nourish the skin while maintaining and enriching its microbial diversity, soothing redness and irritations in babies, children, and adults.

Lastly, the 'WOW! Effect' serum is a product that combines natural ingredients and advanced biotechnology to improve the overall appearance of the skin and combat signs of aging. Additionally, it protects against blue light from screens and cares for the skin's microbiota.

All these developments share the common goal of correcting skin imbalance through biotechnological actives capable of modulating communities of microorganisms and treating them naturally. The products designed by this company are made with natural origin prebiotics and postbiotics, scientifically proven as active ingredients.
