The Alicante TRAM shows strength: more than 1.7 million users in September

Daily movements continue to rise and increase by 9.43% compared to the same period in 2023

The Alicante TRAM becomes strong. In September, it facilitated travel for 1,744,640 users, which means an increase of 9.43% compared to the same period last year and 150,306 more trips.

Overall, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) added a total of 10,367,553 movements between the Alicante TRAM and Metrovalencia in September, representing an increase of 11.38% compared to the same month in 2023 and 1,059,194 more transfers.

According to line distribution, Line 2, which connects Luceros with San Vicent del Raspeig, was the most used with 717,673 movements; followed by Line 1, which connects Luceros and Benidorm, with 356,797; Line 3, which links Luceros with El Campello, with 291,039; Line 4, which connects Luceros with Plaza La Coruña, with 195,287; Line 5, linking Porta del Mar and Plaza La Coruña, with 92,526; and Line 9, running between Benidorm and Dénia, with 91,318 trips.

Luceros, the busiest station

In station traffic, Luceros leads mobility with 331,915 users. It was followed by Mercado with 205,461 and Benidorm with 120,231 passengers.

Next were Marq-Castillo with 118,202; Sant Vicent del Raspeig with 96,823; El Campello with 54,085; Pintor Gastón Castelló with 53,368; Bulevar del Plá with 52,690; Garbinet with 47,143; and Hospital with 42,654 movements.
