Gastronomy is an indispensable element of Alicante's tourism excellence. The provincial capital boasts a diverse culinary offering with over 1,700 registered establishments. This commitment has earned it the title of Spanish Capital of Gastronomy 2025.
The prestigious '50 Top Pizza' guide has selected an Alicante pizzeria for the third consecutive year as the best in the Levante region, one of the top seven in Spain, and the 36th best in Europe. We are talking about Infraganti, the personal project of Raquel Perramón and Gonzalo Infante.
A couple who decided to change their lives and build a business around one of their great passions: pizza, a product they believed should reach a new level within the gastronomic industry.
Infraganti's pizza is inspired by Neapolitan traditions but is not purely Neapolitan. The dough is made using traditional techniques, with a blend of flours from small producers that ferments for 48 hours, making it highly digestible.
"Purity is in the mix," highlight its founders, whose project has focused from the start on gathering the knowledge and techniques of masters while trying to limit the importation of ingredients. "We have a land rich in products that makes Spain the envy internationally for its raw materials," adds Raquel Perramón.
