Valencians al món, À Punt's most travel-oriented programme, takes flight this Wednesday night, 21st May, to Saxony. At 22:45, we will explore one of Germany's most culturally significant regions. Reporter Cristina Orts opens the doors to the city of Meissen, renowned worldwide for its handcrafted porcelain, and Leipzig, a key location in the history of classical music.

Manu Vázquez, from Valencia, has been living in Germany for ten years. With him, we will stop at the majestic Royal Palace of Dresden (Residenzschloss), one of the most historic buildings in the Saxon capital. During the visit, we discover the Green Vault (Grünes Gewölbe), which houses an impressive collection of jewels, treasures, and decorative art objects.

Raquel Pérez, from Massamagrell, has resided in Dresden for six years. With Raquel, we will visit the German Hygiene Museum (Deutsches Hygiene-Museum), a unique and pioneering space dedicated to exploring the human body, health, and society from a scientific, cultural, and historical perspective.

Andrea Gracia, from Elda, has been in Dresden for four years. She will guide us through Meissen, where porcelain was first manufactured in Europe in the early 18th century, breaking the Chinese monopoly that had dominated for centuries. We will also visit one of the city's most iconic shops, where we will discover the porcelain manufacturing process.

Marina Garzón, from Cullera, has lived in Leipzig for two and a half years. She will open the doors to the Bach Museum in Leipzig, a space dedicated to preserving and promoting the life and work of Johann Sebastian Bach, one of the most influential composers in music history.

Adrián Silvestre, from Banyeres de Mariola, has lived in Leipzig for twelve years and will accompany us to St. Nicholas Church, known for its organ and its connection to Bach. Incidentally, Adrián has prepared a musical surprise for À Punt's viewers.
