The Alicante Higher Conservatory of Dance opens its doors to the general public. The aim is to address queries and encourage locals to pursue their studies. The session will include visits to theoretical subject classes of its degrees along with master classes in various styles.
The open day will be held on the morning of March 26th. This event will introduce the different studies, the validity of degrees, career opportunities for graduates, the entrance exam system, credit recognition, and how to combine degrees with other courses.
Thus, the Alicante Higher Conservatory of Dance will welcome attendees to this event starting at 9:30 a.m., with the talk 'Higher Dance Education at CSDA' led by the management team.
The session will continue with visits to two theoretical subjects: Fundamentals of Education Applied to Dance and Didactics and Methodology in Dance, to gain first-hand insight into teaching at the Higher Conservatory.
After a break, master classes will be held, where instructors of different styles will showcase dance techniques and practical works. These include classical dance, Spanish dance, contemporary dance, and social dance.
This open day also includes a visit to the Somatic Techniques classroom and the optional subject 'Workshop on Stage', before concluding with a meeting between prospective students, current students, faculty, and administration of the Alicante Higher Conservatory of Dance to address any questions.
