'Alicante Futura Lab', the workshop to boost the city's digital talent over the next three months

Alicante hosts the first edition of the 'Alicante Futura Lab' programme over three months, aimed at promoting local emerging talent and connecting it with the business ecosystem through the development of technological solutions to real needs. The renovated Alicante Emprende business incubator, managed by Impulsalicante in Mercalicante, is the Futura Territory hosting this digital talent promotion programme, which will run for three months.

The programme also offers highly specialised technical talks with industry professionals, networking activities, and a Showcase Day, where participants can present their projects to companies and potential recruiters.

This programme is developed at Alicante Emprende (Mercalicante), one of the key spaces of Futura Territories, the network of strategic locations promoting employment and entrepreneurship in the city. During this first session, participants had the opportunity to meet their team and mentors, discovering the projects they will develop over the next three months.

The Councillor for Employment and Development, María del Carmen de España, highlights that Alicante Futura Lab is "a key opportunity to train professionals in the digital field and strengthen Alicante's position as an ideal environment for the growth of technological talent."
