Alicante Footwear Shines at Florence's Prestigious Men's Fashion Fair

Two brands from the province will be present at the Pitti Immagine Uomo fair in Florence from this Tuesday until June 20th. The event, celebrating its 108th edition, is one of the most significant fairs dedicated to men's fashion worldwide.

Foamers and Verbenas are attending alongside 19 other footwear brands travelling to Italy under the umbrella of the Spanish Footwear Industries Federation (FICE). In total, 29 Spanish exhibitors are participating, 21 of which are footwear brands.

The brands will showcase their proposals for the spring-summer 2026 collections. A significant global participation is expected at the fair, with a total of 730 brands, 43% of which are international. The fair is positioned as a prime venue to explore emerging trends in the sector and gauge the evolution of men's fashion.

The Secretary General of FICE, Salvador Gómez, emphasized that "this fair offers a unique and unparalleled platform for men's footwear brands to showcase their value proposition, connect with key buyers, and strengthen their position in the European market."

Gómez values the "intense" days of international promotion, as footwear also attended the Expo Riva Schuh fair last week. This edition's exhibition journey will be divided into five different sections (Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling, and I Go Out), ranging from avant-garde fashion design to outdoor clothing.

In parallel, ICEX and the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Milan, in collaboration with the Clara Garcovich agency in Milan, will organize a Spanish fashion promotion event on June 18th from 10:00 a.m. at La Sala della Scherma in Fortezza da Basso.

This event will highlight the creativity, quality, and innovation of the fashion sector in Spain, featuring a curated selection of Spanish brands present at Pitti Uomo. It will be a static installation showcasing a selection of representative garments from the brands participating in this trade fair.
