Alicante and Elche have reinforced their alliances, this time in the technological field, with the inaugural Tech Day awards of the province. The event was held in a dual format between the 'Ciutat d'Elx' Congress Centre and the municipal space of Impulsalicante, attended by their respective mayors, Luis Barcala and Pablo Ruz.
At the Tech Day Gala, recognition was given to the achievements of Itziar Pérez and Yago Sierras as technological leaders, and to the most outstanding companies and startups such as Orizon, Tera Batteries, Tu Trámite Fácil, Recover, as well as the innovative project of the Unique Clinical History by the regional secretariat of Planning, Information and Digital Transformation of the Generalitat.
The Mayor of Alicante, Luis Barcala, highlighted "the significant evolution of the technological industry in Alicante, as demonstrated in the first Study on the Productive Sectors of the provincial capital presented last week," and confirmed that "the digital strategy Alicante Futura and ALIA (Alicante Investment Attraction Agency) has been the right one, successfully driving digital transformation and promoting talent acquisition and business attraction in the city."
