Alicante Commerce Voucher Introduces New Features: Dates and How to Use It

A new edition of the commerce vouchers in Alicante kicks off. Starting from September 26, citizens can acquire these tickets online to obtain a 50% discount on their purchases made in city establishments.

Deputy Carlos Pastor, Alicante's Councilor for Commerce, Lidia López, and the President of the Chamber, Carlos Baño, have presented this new edition of the commerce voucher in Alicante, which expands the number of beneficiaries. They also highlighted that 672 businesses are already registered, with more expected to join.

The total amount for this campaign of the commerce voucher in Alicante will be 1,574,000 euros - with a global and direct injection of three million into local commerce - to be distributed among all citizens. The maximum amount of vouchers each Alicante resident can acquire will be 400 euros, a reduction from previous editions to increase the number of beneficiaries.

The vouchers can be used until October 27 in small and traditional businesses in Alicante to "boost and develop the city's productive sector," López stated. "The intention of the Provincial Council is for the consumption vouchers to become a permanent fixture," Deputy Pastor also emphasized.

This time there will also be two types of vouchers, a general one and another senior for older adults. The general commerce voucher can be acquired through the website bonocomercioalicante.es on September 27 and 30, and October 1 and 2, starting at 8:30 AM and 4 PM. "Each day a new number of vouchers will be available" so that all Alicante residents can get theirs.

The senior voucher introduces a significant novelty as it can be acquired both at the Consumer Resource Center (Cerca), located at the Central Market's ground floor, and at three community social centers in Alicante from 8:30 AM to 2 PM. The scheduled days are: September 23 for voucher sales at Cerca and Felicidad Sánchez Center; September 24 for voucher sales at Cerca and Isla de Cuba Social Center; and September 25 for voucher sales at Cerca and Entreplayas Social Center.
