Alicante Civil Servants Rally in Support of Muface: 'Our Health is Not a Game'

The CSIF union protested this Thursday, 13th February, outside the Government Subdelegation in Alicante in support of Muface, the administrative mutualism model that benefits thousands of civil servants. This mobilisation has also taken place in other provinces of the Valencian Community, following the massive demonstration on 16th December in Madrid, where over 50,000 mutualists participated to demand the continuation of Muface.

This model, which has proven its effectiveness for over 50 years, has generated significant savings for public coffers and has helped to alleviate the burden on a healthcare system currently struggling to meet the growing demand for care.

Currently, in the Valencian Community, there are a total of 163,126 mutualists affiliated with Muface. Alicante has 55,730 mutualists, Castellón has 20,751, and Valencia has a total of 86,645. These numbers reflect the distribution of civil servants benefiting from Muface's services in the region, highlighting the importance of this entity in managing health and other benefits for public administration personnel.
