Residents of Alicante province will experience the start of the week under hot and humid conditions, typical of early summer incursions. According to the forecast by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), both Monday, June 16, and Tuesday, June 17, are expected to see stable atmospheric conditions, with skies ranging from slightly cloudy to cloudy and temperatures exceeding 30 degrees across much of the region.
Monday will dawn with sunshine and some high clouds, with no precipitation expected. Maximum temperatures will hover around 31°C along the coast and could reach 33°C inland. Minimums, meanwhile, will not drop below 22°C, leading to tropical nights—those where temperatures do not fall below 20°C—creating a high thermal sensation during the night hours.
Tuesday is expected to see a slight increase in cloud cover, especially in northern inland areas, although no rain is forecast. Temperatures will follow a very similar pattern to the previous day, with highs around 32°C and minimums again easily exceeding 22°C. The wind will blow lightly from the east, with sea breezes potentially providing some thermal relief in coastal areas during the afternoon.
