The Local Development Agency of Alicante, 'Impulsalicante', has concluded the year by supporting 20 projects under the Impulsacultura Proyecta programme to promote the cultural and creative industry in the city. Over its five editions, this business sector promotion format has managed to launch more than a hundred initiatives generated by local companies, which helps to energise and fill the events calendar, as well as being a driver of employment.

María del Carmen de España, Councillor for Employment and Promotion and delegated president of Impulsalicante, highlights "the prominent role of this programme as a support engine for entrepreneurs with innovative ideas in the cultural and creative industries." "With great participation success, ImpulsaCultura Proyecta has showcased local talent and fostered the development of cultural initiatives, establishing itself as a key platform for cultural entrepreneurship in Alicante," added the councillor.

Among the participating projects are: Artesanía Nogagui, CQ Cueros, EnerGira, Formación para Actores, FRIDA, Harp and Friends, Hostel Oasis, TUKOKEDAMA, Kuriosity, Lorena Parres Fotografía, Los Alimentos son Mágicos, Alacant Teatro, Luna de Viento, Malabaramáquinas, Niwa Experiencias, OH POLLITO!, PATENTES ARCE, S.L., Simbiosis Arte y Café, Sin Barreras Indumentaria Inclusiva, Ster Casillas Fotografía, and Tren al Sur.

These 20 projects participating in the programme were presented in mid-December at the DemoDay, where their protagonists had the opportunity to share their progress and proposals with the public through video presentations of each participant and live performances. This event featured a stand area where attendees could learn about each project up close and engage directly with the entrepreneurs about their proposals and impact on the creative sector.

The DemoDay offers a wide variety of interactive workshops each year, involving the public in practical and original experiences. In this fifth edition, activities included theatrical improvisation, kitchen magic, a showcase of machines with interactive games, artistic experiences, and a soy candle workshop.
