The oils and canvases that fill the halls of the Prado Museum in Madrid will transform the streets of Alicante and the Comunitat into an open-air subsidiary of the national art gallery. The traveling exhibition 'The Prado in the Streets' will visit various municipalities in the coming months.

The exhibition will kick off on September 27th in Benidorm and will tour through Ontinyent, Castelló de la Plana, Sagunto, Alicante, Valencia, Vinarós, and Orihuela, concluding in Burriana in July 2025. In each locality, the duration of the exhibit will be approximately one month.

'The Prado in the Streets' aims to showcase the collections and historical heritage associated with the National Prado Museum through 50 life-size reproductions -alongside explanatory plaques, QR codes, and informational panels- of masterpieces from the Spanish, Italian, and Flemish schools.
