Alejandro Sanz and his ex-wife, Raquel Perera, celebrated their children Dylan (13) and Alma's (10) first communion this weekend at the artist's estate, El Sueño de los Parrales, in Jarandilla de la Vera (Cáceres). The ceremony brought the family together in an intimate setting, away from the media noise sparked by recent statements from Ivet Playà regarding her relationship with the singer.
The former couple demonstrated their cordiality, focusing on what is most important to them, as Raquel Perera shared some photos of the day on her Instagram profile with meaningful messages. "And we like what matters," reads the image where Dylan and Alma smile in their communion outfits. "Walking with flowers always opens an enchanted forest," accompanies the snapshot featuring Alejandro, Raquel, and the singer's four children: Dylan, Alma, and their two older siblings, Manuela, 23, and Alexander, 21. A true declaration of intentions.
Despite this special celebration and the unwavering support of his loved ones, Alejandro Sanz could not stay away from the controversy stirred by his admirer and former employee Ivet Playà. The young woman posted a controversial video on TikTok claiming she felt "deceived," "used," and "humiliated" by the artist. "My bond with Alejandro Sanz became sexual. I was supposed to be living a dream, another dream by his side, but the reality is it turned into a terrible nightmare," she declared.
Although she has clarified on several occasions that her goal is not to accuse the artist of any crime, she wanted to elaborate on her testimony by appearing on ¡De viernes!, where she explained that she began to see a man she did not recognize after the "sexual bond." "I realized that the Alejandro I idolized did not exist," she pointed out during an interview from which she did not emerge well.
In recent days, information has also been published suggesting that Playà's concerns may have an economic motive. The singer himself highlighted this in his first statement on the matter: "In May, you offered me to participate and invest in some of your family businesses. After reviewing it with my advisors, I said no. I am sorry that your reaction is this, but I want you to know that I have never been part of these practices and will continue to be so all my life. I wish you find your path and happiness soon," he published.
However, after Ivet's appearance on the Fuencarral channel, where she spoke of "questionable morality" attitudes, the artist has decided to take legal action. This was revealed by Luis Royán and Emma García on the Fiesta program. The presenter noted that she found Alejandro Sanz "relaxed and calm," who confirmed that everything was in the hands of his lawyers.
Meanwhile, the artist has wanted to move forward with his life and address his followers through the social network X: "Good night, family. Can we continue with our own? I love you. Thank you for trusting me." And he added: "And something even more important: thank you to all of you who have supported me these days. Because courage and friendship are demonstrated when it is easier to remain silent than to speak out. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will never forget that. I love you."
For her part, lawyer Teresa Bueyes, representing Ivet, has also announced legal measures following reports suggesting that the young woman's testimony is due to the artist's refusal to submit to alleged blackmail. Allegedly, the singer's former employee proposed his participation in three projects linked to several of her family's companies, which would include three annual contributions totaling nearly one million euros, offering the artist a 5% stake in the proposed businesses. All, allegedly, under the threat of disseminating a series of photographs and audios with sexual content that Ivet and Alejandro had exchanged in early 2024.
The plot thickens, and meanwhile, Alejandro Sanz continues with his life, accompanied by his loved ones, including his current partner, Candela Márquez, who, despite recent breakup rumors, was present at the singer's children's communion.
