After months of rumors and speculation, it has finally been confirmed that Alejandro Sanz has found new love with Valencian actress Candela Márquez. This was confirmed by Nacho Gay on the Antena 3 program, 'Y ahora Sonsoles'. The singer's new interest is an actress, from Valencia, and 19 years younger than him.

The news has caused a great stir, as the couple has been in the spotlight for weeks, especially after being seen at actor Paco León's 50th birthday party. According to Gay during the program, Sanz and Márquez arrived together at the event, where they did not try to hide their closeness. "They behaved like a couple throughout the party," noted the collaborator.

The relationship has begun to solidify after the singer's breakup with Cuban artist Rachel Valdés, who was his partner from 2019 until June 2023. According to some close friends, this new romance could be a sign that Sanz has found excitement again. In fact, some speculate that his more open attitude in public is a way to show his ex that he has moved on and is "happy with this new stage of his life," as mentioned by the program's collaborator.

Candela Márquez, 36, is a Spanish actress whose career has had greater impact in Mexico, where she has established herself as one of the most recognized figures on television. She rose to fame in 2015 thanks to her role in the telenovela 'Muchacha italiana viene a casarse', and since then has starred in other successful productions such as 'Malverde: El Santo Patrón' and 'Betty en NY'. Her popularity in Latin America is notable, although in Spain she remains relatively unknown to the general public.

The first signs of her relationship with Alejandro Sanz became known when they both attended a sports event in Miami together, invited by former footballer David Beckham. Sanz introduced Márquez as his partner during the Inter Miami match, which sparked a wave of rumors that have finally been confirmed. After the sports event, the couple enjoyed an evening with friends of the singer, once again showing the complicity between them.

Sources close to the singer assure that their relationship began discreetly, but gradually gained strength. It was mutual friends who introduced them in Miami earlier this year and since then, the spark between them has been evident. Although they initially tried to keep their romance away from the media spotlight, in recent weeks they have been more open. We have even seen them interact publicly through their social networks, where they have exchanged playful messages that have not gone unnoticed by their followers.

A new chapter in Alejandro Sanz's love life, who is fully enjoying Candela's company. According to journalist Leticia Requejo, who spoke about the new couple on 'TardeAR', the singer is "devoted to this new excitement".

Over the years, Alejandro Sanz has had several romantic relationships that have marked different stages of his life. His first great love was Jaydy Michel, the Mexican model with whom he was married from 1997 to 2004. Together they had their daughter Manuela. Despite their separation, they have managed to maintain a cordial relationship.

The surprise came when it was revealed that during his marriage to Michel, the singer had a relationship with Valeria Rivera, a Puerto Rican designer, from which Alexander was born. It seems that the news of this secret child was one of the reasons that precipitated the end of his relationship with Jaydy Michel. A child about whom little was initially known, but who, over time, has fully integrated into his father's public life.

After the breakup with the Mexican model, Sanz found love with Raquel Perera, who had been his personal assistant. Their romance began in the late 2000s and was long and stable. Together they had two children, Dylan (born in 2011) and Alma (in 2014). Although everything seemed idyllic, the couple announced their separation in 2019 through a statement on social networks.

More recently, the singer was with Cuban artist Rachel Valdés, with whom he began a relationship shortly after his separation from Perera. Despite the 21-year age difference, they lived an intense love story that lasted several years, until mid-2023, when they also separated.

Since then, no other love interest of the singer had been revealed, although this year there was much talk of a possible rapprochement with Mónica Cruz. It was then talked about as a "special friendship" and although neither of them initially commented, they did play along by posting photos on their social networks where they appeared together with other friends. In any case, the denial finally came: "He is a friend, we talk and laugh," said Mónica about it, delighted that she had been linked to such a "potent" boyfriend.

Now, Alejandro Sanz seems to have found love again with Candela Márquez, with whom he has started a new stage in his love life.
