Aleixandri Studio Wins 25th Edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award

Aleixandri Studio has been honoured with the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award in its 25th edition, establishing itself as the best emerging designer at the 81st Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. The award, which has been supporting new Spanish fashion talents for 12 years by providing a platform for visibility and international projection, was awarded to the designer from Tarragona, Marc Aleixandri, who will have the opportunity to present the winning collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico.

His collection, 'Violetas', draws inspiration from individuals who sought to remain true to themselves during the Francoist era, creating a constant dialogue between the past, present, and potential future. An elegant, bold, and captivating proposal, partly due to its magnificent execution.

The jury, which included Laura Corsini, creative director of Bimani; David Rivas, fashion stylist; Marta de la Rocha, vice-dean of the fashion area at the Creative Campus of the European University; and Paloma Herce, journalist and PR specialist in fashion, weddings, and lifestyle, was swayed by his potential in the fashion industry. The experts praised the impeccable craftsmanship of the garments and the coherence of both his collection and brand. The research was another aspect highlighted by this group of professionals, as well as the artistic profile of the designer, Marc Aleixandri, and his ability to create not only designs but also the staging.

With this award, Aleixandri Studio joins the list of names that have been recognised with the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award, national fashion references whose recognition propelled them at the start of their careers, such as Ernesto Naranjo, Dominnico, and Pepa Salazar.
