Víctor de Aldama, the alleged facilitator of the 'Koldo plot', claimed in his voluntary statement at the National Court this Thursday that the PSOE's Organisation Secretary, Santos Cerdán, received an envelope containing €15,000. He also stated that €250,000 was given to the then Minister of Transport, José Luis Ábalos, and another €100,000 to his former advisor, Koldo García. Additionally, he mentioned that the former Canary Islands president and current minister, Ángel Víctor Torres, requested €50,000.
Legal sources consulted by Europa Press indicate that the businessman recounted how Koldo handed Santos Cerdán an envelope with €15,000, and that he personally gave €250,000 to Ábalos and €100,000 to Koldo himself.
Regarding Torres, he narrated that the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory requested €50,000 as part of the negotiations for mask purchases during the pandemic. It is noteworthy that companies linked to the plot received several contracts from the Canary Islands government to procure medical supplies.
