Carlos Alcaraz, a finalist at Roland Garros, will enjoy the second semi-final alongside his team this Saturday, which will see Novak Djokovic face Jannik Sinner. The Spaniard defeated Lorenzo Musetti, who retired in the fourth set, and can now calmly discover who his opponent will be on Sunday at the Philippe Chatrier.

"I won't miss it," assured the Spaniard. "It's one of the best matches you can watch in tennis today. I'm going to watch it, enjoy it, and also take notes from the match. We will all enjoy it because they are sure to play great tennis."

Regarding the victory over Musetti, sealed due to the Italian's muscular problems in his left leg, Alcaraz emphasised how crucial it was to win the second set in the tiebreak.

"The first two sets were very tough. I had opportunities to break him in the early games and take the lead, but I didn't take them, and then he played great tennis. Winning the 'tie break' brought relief, and in the third set, I wanted to be aggressive, dominate, and be myself. I was able to see things more clearly and played much better."

After losing a set in four of his last five matches, Alcaraz says he is physically well and feels ready for what will be his fifth Grand Slam final, a stage where he has never lost and which has so far resulted in two Wimbledon titles, one Roland Garros, and one US Open.

"I feel very good, it's been three intense weeks, but we have one last step. I feel like I'm playing very well and with a lot of confidence. I've done great things in this tournament, and now it's time to give 100% and achieve it on Sunday."
