Alberto Teichman is the new director of Audi Spain

Audi Spain has appointed Alberto Teichman as the new general director. Until now, he held the position of general director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in Spain and was a member of the Executive Committee of Volkswagen Group Spain Distribution, as announced by the company in a statement this Monday.

Thus, Teichman will replace José Miguel Aparicio, who assumes the General Management of Audi in the United Kingdom. Their appointments will take effect on Tuesday, October 1.

The executive, born in Barcelona and 47 years old, holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and an MBA from ESADE. According to the firm, he has been linked to Volkswagen Group Spain Distribution since 2001.

In 2007, he joined the Audi brand, where he held various responsible positions in areas such as Planning and Logistics or Fleet Sales until assuming the position of Sales Director.

After five years in this position, in January 2018, Alberto Teichman was appointed general director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and a member of the Executive Committee of Volkswagen Group Spain Distribution.

The president of Volkswagen Group Spain Distribution, Paco Pérez Botello, emphasized that Teichman "is a great connoisseur of the Audi brand, which he helped consolidate as a leader in the 'premium' market. He is backed by sales records, market share, and network profitability during his recent tenure at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles."

For his part, Alberto Teichman declared that "after a great period leading the excellent team at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, it is a great personal satisfaction to return to Audi, the brand where he has developed most of his career and where he hopes to continue the great work done by José Miguel Aparicio."
