Alberola Rojas, the Best Referee; González Fuertes, Melero López, and Pulido Santana Drop from First Division

The CTA acknowledges the work of the Castilian-Manchego referee and promotes Galech Apezteguia, Guzmán Mansilla, and Sesma Espinosa to the top category

The Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) has named Castilian-Manchego Javier Alberola Rojas as the best referee of the 2024-25 season in the First Division. Through its latest refereeing report, the committee also announced the promotion from the Second Division of Iosu Galech Apezteguia from Navarre, José Luis Guzmán Mansilla from Andalusia, and Miguel Sesma Espinosa from the Rioja association.

The three replace the retired Pablo González Fuertes from the Asturian association, and Mario Melero López from Andalusia, as well as the relegated Juan Luis Pulido Santana from the Las Palmas committee. Additionally, referees Bestard Servera, De Ena Wolf, Etayo Herrera, Morilla Turrión, and Ojaos Valera are promoted to the Second Division from the First Federation, while Ávalos Barrera and De la Fuente Ramos exit the silver tier of Spanish football.
