Alba Lillo Domenech: "Delivering the Bouquet to Alicante's Patron Saint is an Overwhelming Feeling of Emotion"

Alba Lillo Domenech describes the Hogueras of Alicante as a fusion of "celebration, tradition, fire, friendship, and emotion." For this Alicante native, speaking of the festivities is "talking about family, the kind you need close by, as without them you are not complete."

Since a young age, she has been involved in the official festivities of Alicante. She has held various representative roles such as the honorary child lady in the Maisonnave bonfire. After that, she became an honorary lady and bellea in Óscar Esplá, where she also manages as a delegate for children and social media manager.

This Alicante native has embarked on her journey as a candidate for bellea del foc of Alicante 2025. It is at these moments she looks back and recalls great times, such as the flower offering to the Virgin of Remedio. "Offering the bouquet to the patron saint is akin to an overwhelming feeling of full emotion."

The multicolored parade is another event she has enjoyed on several occasions. One of her most memorable experiences was in 2008 when she was an honorary child lady. Years have passed since then, but "I still find some confetti from that skirt," she jokes.
