GAES and COCEMFE Alicante, the Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities in the province of Alicante, have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at promoting hearing health and improving the quality of life for people with disabilities in the province.
Thanks to this agreement, members of COCEMFE Alicante and its federated entities will have access to personalised hearing services and solutions, benefiting from preferential conditions, free hearing check-ups, specialised technical advice, and other joint actions that will be progressively developed.
Innovation and Social Commitment
"Collaborating with COCEMFE Alicante connects us with a social reality to which we want to provide real solutions. We are excited to contribute to this project where technological innovation and social commitment go hand in hand," stated Francesc Carreño, Head of the Social Area and Audiology Research at GAES.
Meanwhile, Cristina Esclapés, President of COCEMFE Alicante, stated: "This agreement allows us to take another step in our work to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities. Hearing accessibility is key to inclusion, and having an ally like GAES, an Amplifon brand, strengthens us as an entity committed to the rights and real needs of our community."
Among the benefits derived from this agreement are a free hearing study and a 30-day trial of hearing aids without obligation; discounts on hearing aids; free batteries for three years; personalised financing to be assessed on a case-by-case basis; and for cochlear implant users, discounts on components and the possibility of interest-free financing for the acquisition of processors, with an assistance service available.
