Ben Affleck on Jennifer Lopez's New Romance: 'He Doesn't Know What's Coming'

Jennifer Lopez remains deeply engaged in her hectic schedule of concerts and film projects. The separation from Ben Affleck has not diminished her energy in the slightest. Recently, she has been filming a new romantic comedy, 'Office Romance', in the Dominican Republic alongside actor Brett Goldstein, with whom she has been linked after being seen in a loving manner during the wrap party, after which they went to dinner together. Soon, the opinion of the 'Daredevil' star about who could be his ex-wife's latest conquest emerged: 'He doesn't know what's coming,' sources close to him have conveyed.

However, the actor reportedly didn't stop there. His inner circle has shared that Ben 'is aware of what's happening with Brett and Jennifer, and he doesn't want to stop her from living her life, but he believes Brett should get out if he knows what's good for him, because he's clearly too dazzled by Jennifer's charms to realise what's in store. Jennifer can be very tough on men, and Ben can attest to that.'

Brett Goldstein, aged 44, is a British actor and screenwriter popular for his role as Roy Kent in the sports comedy series 'Ted Lasso' on Apple TV, for which he received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in its first two seasons. A man about whom Affleck reportedly said, 'He's a good guy, naive, who's going to be chewed up and spat out.' The same sources have quoted to RadarOnline one of the phrases from the diva of the Bronx's ex-husband: 'I wish him luck. Jennifer is demanding, has impossible standards, and a lifestyle not everyone can handle. I couldn't, and I consider myself quite balanced.'

These words not only serve as a warning to who might be the singer's new boyfriend but also hint at some resentment following the brief yet intense marriage between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, who chose their second wedding anniversary, August 20, 2024, to file for divorce after several months apart.

Ben's words would also confirm the new romance of his ex-wife, which neither of the two protagonists has officially confirmed yet. It was the Daily Mail that revealed last April that JLo had been seen with her co-star in New Jersey, smiling and arm in arm. We will have to wait to see if this budding relationship takes off or if Brett takes Affleck's warnings seriously.
