And the prediction comes true. The province of Alicante experiences during this weekend a considerable drop in temperatures, compared to previous days. Thermometers have dropped in several points with the arrival of autumn, although the 'San Miguel summer' will sneak in again in the coming days.

This does not prevent the rain from being present in the city. The Aemet warns, with this, of a new change in Alicante's climate. After the stability achieved with the Aitor storm, the state agency warns of the arrival of cyclone Isaac, which will not fully affect the province but will make its presence felt.

Among the effects that this tropical hurricane could leave are episodes of rain and wind, which are already predicted by the State Meteorological Agency. Likewise, morning mists could occur between the mountains in the interior of the province of Alicante.

For now, the first Saturday of autumn dawns in Alicante with temperatures of 21 degrees, which could reach 25 points in the central hours of the day. The clouds will clear up as the hours go by to also enjoy a sunny Sunday with calm mercury.

As for the start of the week, Monday will follow the same line. Maximums of 26 degrees and sun, although with minimums of 17 degrees. The wind will remain, like this weekend, at ten kilometers per hour. However, it will be on Tuesday when the effects of cyclone Isaac will be felt in Alicante.

The Aemet warns of episodes of rain during the day, in which thermometers will raise their maximums to 32 degrees. These will suffer a drastic drop on Wednesday, reaching 25 degrees. Showers will also remain during midweek with increased wind gust speeds.

Storm in the province

The interior of the province greets with maximum temperatures of 23 degrees. These will remain mainly at 18 points, same for Sunday also with a sunny day. It will be from Monday when mercury rises until clouds completely cover the sky. The presence of Isaac will also reach Alcoi with rains on Wednesday and Thursday.

The northern coast of Alicante province will experience a similar situation. For now, 25 degrees maximum for this weekend with sun and some clouds. Thermometers will continue along the same line at the start of the week until a rise of three degrees in the coming days with rains.

However, in Vega Baja temperatures this weekend are more summery. 27 degrees maximum for both days with an increase up to three points by next Monday and eight for Wednesday and Thursday. Rain will be scarce in southern Alicante province. The Aemet forecasts precipitation for late next week.
