The Advanced Tertiary Association and Aguas de Alicante will hold the fifth day of the project "An Hour for Change" next Tuesday, October 1st. This initiative, which aims to promote sustainability in the province of Alicante, is part of the UN's 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Under the slogan 'An Hour for Change', the project addresses sustainability challenges through five programs in Living Podcast format. These programs aim to inspire and give visibility to social commitment in various sectors of the province. They serve as a meeting point between the mayors of the municipalities where Aguas de Alicante operates and professionals specialized in social sustainability.

During the scheduled sessions, crucial topics such as waste and water resource management, tourism sustainability, and energy efficiency are addressed. The participation of the municipalities of San Vicente del Raspeig, El Campello, Monforte del Cid, Petrer, and Sant Joan d'Alacant is essential to raise awareness and foster real change towards more sustainable practices in the province.

The fifth meeting will take place next Tuesday, October 1st, at the 'Salvador Gosálbez Alberola' Municipal Senior Center in Sant Joan d'Alacant, starting at 9:30 a.m. The speakers will be Santiago Román, mayor of Sant Joan; Sergio Sánchez, general director of Aguas de Alicante; and Emilio Trinidad, commercial director of Cubierta Solar. The moderator will be Anabel Rosas, director of LÍDER, a media partner of the project.

To access the content of the Living Podcasts, you can consult the social networks and websites of the organizing entities, where recordings of each program will be available. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the debate on sustainability in our province and contribute to the shift towards a more sustainable future.
