According to Enrique Centeno, Vice-Rector of CEU UCH in Elche, the rise in student numbers "is a testament to the trust that the community of Elche and the province of Alicante have in CEU's educational project. We are particularly pleased during these months as we celebrate three decades of presence in the city of Elche. In fact, on November 5th we will mark this anniversary with a grand academic event at the Gran Teatro de Elche."
CEU UCH offers training in Law, Business Management, Marketing, Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, and Nursing. To support this diverse curriculum, the university employs over 200 professors and practical tutors.

For the upcoming academic year, they plan to launch Psychology studies approved by ANECA. "CEU continues to expand its educational offerings with a focus on being useful to Alicante society, which is a hallmark of our foundational nature," states Centeno.
This academic year has also seen the opening of a new dental clinic while awaiting the completion of renovation works at CEU's new campus in Elche's former Zara building. According to the Vice-Rector, these facilities are expected to be "fully operational by 2025."
'Welcome Days'
The new international students have received specific training to help them adapt to their courses' demands and have completed a Spanish language immersion course offered by the institution to facilitate their academic progress. The orientation event "Welcome Days," held before the start of classes, aimed at integrating students academically, culturally, and socially.
