10-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling into a Pool During School Trip in Cádiz

A ten-year-old boy passed away this Saturday in a Cádiz hospital after being rescued from a pool in the municipality of Arcos de la Frontera (Cádiz) last Wednesday.

The Junta de Andalucía has expressed its sorrow over the death of the student from Colegio Argantonio, who was on a school trip when the accident occurred.

Furthermore, the Andalusian Government stated that the territorial delegate, Isabel Paredes, has contacted the school's management to personally convey her condolences, as well as the full support of this Delegation and the Ministry of Educational Development and Professional Training to the boy's family, the teaching staff, and the entire educational community during these difficult times.

"From the Delegation, in these moments of grief, we wish to extend our deepest condolences to all members of the Colegio Argantonio educational community, as well as our sincere support in the face of such a painful loss," she expressed.
